Welcome to True North Kickboxing ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, website, and facilities. By accessing or using any part of our offerings, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

These Terms have been created in accordance with applicable Canadian law, including the Consumer Protection Act (Ontario) and related regulations.

1. Membership and Registration

To access certain services, you may be required to register and purchase a membership. You agree to:

a. Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration

b. Keep your login credentials secure and confidential

c. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your membership for violations of these Terms or misuse of our services.

2. Health and Safety Disclaimer

You acknowledge that kickboxing and fitness activities carry inherent physical risks. By participating, you agree to:

a. Ensure you are physically able and medically cleared to participate

b. Accept all risks associated with training, including injury or illness

c. Release True North Kickboxing and its staff from liability, to the fullest extent permitted by law, for any injury or loss incurred

If you are under 18, participation must be authorized by a parent or legal guardian.

3. Code of Conduct

All members and visitors must:

a. Treat instructors, staff, and other members with respect

b. Abide by safety guidelines, signage, and staff directions

c. Refrain from harassment, violence, or discriminatory behavior

We reserve the right to remove or ban any individual who violates this code of conduct.

4. Fees, Payments, and Refunds

a. All prices are stated in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise noted

b. Memberships and service packages are non-transferable and non-refundable unless required by law

c. Cancellations, no-shows, and late changes may incur a fee based on our studio’s posted policies

d. In the event of studio closures due to government-mandated restrictions, credit or make-up classes may be offered at our discretion

You may have certain cancellation or refund rights under provincial law, including Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act.

5. Facility Access and Conduct

a. Use our facilities and equipment with care and as intended

b. Lockers are available, but we are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items

c. Security cameras may be used on-site for safety and theft prevention

6. Intellectual Property

All materials, content, and branding (logos, videos, class structures, etc.) are the intellectual property of True North Kickboxing. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit any content without written permission.

7. Privacy Compliance

We handle your personal information in accordance with our [Privacy Policy] and Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.

8. Changes to Terms or Services

We may update these Terms and our services at any time. When changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the services after changes are posted constitutes your agreement to the revised terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, True North Kickboxing is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in our services or your use of our website or facilities.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be brought before the courts located in Ontario.
